Welcome, I’m Janet Liberato

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, and I’ve seen how powerful the right support at the right time can be.

My work with organisations such as Barnardo’s and Women’s Aid has given me a deep understanding of the lasting impact that limited access to psychological support can have,  not only for individuals, but for families and future generations. These experiences have strengthened my belief in counselling as a space for healing, empowerment, and meaningful, lasting change.

In addition to my counselling work, I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor, supporting counsellors to develop their practice in a safe and reflective environment. I am committed to offering professional, ethical, and high-quality care. I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, both accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This means you can feel confident that my practice meets recognised professional standards.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I am here to offer a safe and supportive space where you can begin to move towards greater clarity, resilience, and wellbeing.
