Welcome
Taking the first step towards counselling takes courage. It's completely natural to feel uncertain or overwhelmed when considering the right support for you.
As an experienced and dedicated counsellor of 10 years, I understand how important this decision can be.
I run a neuro-affirmative practice, recognising and respecting neurodivergence as a natural part of human diversity rather than something to be fixed.
Every person brings their own unique story, I shape my approach around your needs, your circumstances, and what feels most helpful at this point in your life.
I have particular experience supporting women affected by abuse, including, coercive control, emotional, physical, sexual or narcissistic abuse, whether that has come through a relationship or growing up in a family shaped by it. Using trauma informed approaches, I support reconnecting with a sense of self that may have been denied or lost, and learning to set and hold boundaries that feel right for you.
Having a safe, dedicated space to talk can bring powerful relief. Many people find that being heard and understood eases emotional distress and create space for change.
I work in a pluralistic and flexible way, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. Drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural, Strength based and Compassion focussed approaches,
I adapt sessions to support you in the way that feels most helpful. Whether that means exploring past experiences, understanding present challenges, or developing practical coping strategies will depend on your needs.
